I've lived at Skyline Towers for about six months and it's been a great experience. The most recent building manager, Emily, was amazing and so great to work with. The location is perfect for access to the bus, within walking distance to Glover Park and Cathedral Commons and has beautiful views of the Cathedral. It's a nice, quiet and very comfortable building despite its age. Emily was very responsive to any questions I had and the maintenance staff was very helpful and friendly! I would... absolutely recommend living here to anyone.

I've lived in Skyline Towers for pretty long time and I did like it at first but with the time I just hated it. They didn't want to take care of the main issues like constant leaks that caused a lot of mold ( they just came, scraped of the mold, patched the water damage area and repainted...and in a few weeks you had he same issue). One resident was collecting signatures about mold so he could send complain to the department of health.
They changed managers like every 2 months, they didn't know... what's happening in the building, many times I had to ask to fix the same issue twice because it was not fixed right the first time.
There was no AC in the apartment, you have to rent the window unit for $350 (each if you want more) every year or buy your own.
They said it was pet free building but people had dogs and cats.
There is no dish washer, kitchen cabinets made out of cheap material and just fall apart (and they sure will charge you for that), washers in the basement don't wash well. Basement always smelled bad and had many cockroaches.
They don't do anything about unauthorized vehicles parking in paid residents parking spots.
The reason I moved out was water leaks in the bedroom, bathroom and living room, mold and parking issues. And since the managers change all the time nobody seemed to care.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I can give you whole list of unhappy residents in that building just waiting for theirs leases to end so they can move out. It's sad because it's a great location, rooms are really spacious, and maintenance stuff was really nice.

Skyline Towers is a quaint building in Glover Park. Pros: super easy access to the bus line, awesome resident staff, clean common areas, HUGE apartments, quirky pre-war details like a slatted door for air circulation, very thick plaster walls (so quiet!) and beautiful views of the National Cathedral from some units. Cons: no balconies, no dishwasher, and no rooftop common area. Glover Park is a great neighborhood that feels more residential than urban, but is very close to great restaurants.

Property Manager at Skyline Towers responded to this review
Many untruths told in this review. Management is very responsive with maintenance repairs and will continue to be. No issues with Laundry room. Pets that are present are allowed based on service animal or emotional support. The prime location and... building is a nice place to live. Thank you for your feedback - we value your words. We've carefully worked on solutions over the past couple months to tackle some of the points you bring up in time for the new year. We've restructured our parking lots and we enforce moving unauthorized vehicles daily. Regarding some of the other concerns, we have done full walk throughs with our team to ensure cleanliness and satisfactory conditions.
We are happy to hear you enjoyed your spacious apartment while you were here, and we look forward to the opportunity to work with you again in the future. Should that happen, please feel free to reach our office directly to discuss specials as a returning resident. Happy New Year!
